Scotton – Men's Leather Boots with Hand-Stitched Natural Crepe Soles
Designed in Manchester, Scotton is our distinctive men's single-eye leather boot, combining premium full-grain leather with a relaxed fit, flexible construction and our signature hand-stitched natural crepe rubber sole.

Our Understated Gem
Scotton was developed to feel substantial without becoming rigid. Its simple single-eye tie and clean upper give the boot an understated appearance, while carefully selected leathers bring natural texture, depth and individual character to every pair.

Scotton Q – Horween Vegetable-Tanned Leather
The limited Scotton Q is handcrafted from premium Horween leather, produced by the renowned Chicago tannery. The vegetable-tanned double horse front aniline leather is chosen for its rich character and natural variation, meaning no two pairs will ever look exactly alike.
Each pair of Scotton Q is individually numbered, making every pair subtly unique.

Leather Strobel Construction – Relaxed by Design
Rather than using a conventional Strobel board, Scotton is constructed with a full leather Strobel base beneath a leather-covered footbed. This creates a softer, more natural structure that gradually forms to the shape and contours of the foot with wear.
Combined with Scotton's more relaxed foot entry, the result is a substantial leather boot with an unusually flexible and comfortable feel.

Hand-Stitched Natural Crepe
Underfoot, Scotton is finished with a natural crepe rubber sole, carefully hand-formed and hand-stitched to the upper using natural twine. The crepe provides natural cushioning and flexibility while giving Scotton the distinctive handcrafted appearance that has become a signature of Meanforme footwear.
Handcrafted in Portugal, Scotton brings together premium leather, traditional shoemaking and natural crepe rubber in a distinctive men's boot designed to develop even more character with wear.
Each pair of Scotton is supplied with three sets of laces and our two-part natural canvas carry and storage bag.
