The Meanforme X Emiko collection brings together two of our most distinctive women's silhouettes – Piper L and Risedale L – in a collaboration that celebrates individuality, premium materials and our shared appreciation for footwear with character.
Designed in Manchester and handcrafted in Portugal, both styles combine expressive leathers with the lightweight construction, relaxed comfort and natural crepe rubber soles that have become signatures of Meanforme footwear.
Piper L – A More Refined Silhouette
Our Piper L is a distinctive women's two-eyelet split-toe shoe, built on a slimmer and more refined last developed specifically for the female foot.
For the Emiko collaboration, its clean, low-profile shape provides the perfect foundation for a more expressive upper, bringing together contemporary styling and traditional shoemaking in a lightweight, flexible shoe designed for relaxed everyday wear.
Risedale L – Where the Story Began
Risedale L is the women's interpretation of the shoe that started Meanforme.
Built on a more refined women's last, it retains the distinctive two-eyelet silhouette and relaxed character of the original Risedale while combining premium materials, lightweight Strobel construction, a removable cushioned footbed and our signature natural crepe rubber sole.
For the Emiko collection, the familiar Risedale L shape takes on a more individual character while remaining unmistakably Meanforme.
Made Differently
Both styles are handcrafted using carefully selected materials and traditional shoemaking techniques, with an emphasis on flexibility, comfort and individuality.
Natural variations in the leathers ensure that each pair has a character of its own, while our natural crepe rubber soles provide the soft, flexible underfoot feel that runs throughout the Meanforme collection.
