Haig and Haig Fringe are built on the foundations of our original Risedale, reimagined with a more contemporary character. Handmade in Portugal from exceptional Tuscan reverse suede, they combine quality materials, traditional craftsmanship and everyday comfort.

Like Risedale, every pair is constructed using lightweight Strobel construction, allowing the upper to move naturally with your foot from the very first wear. Beneath it sits a 6mm natural crepe sole, hand stitched by skilled craftsmen in a process that takes more than an hour to complete. It's a slower way to build a boot, but one that delivers remarkable flexibility, durability and a character that's impossible to replicate by machine.

The distinctive split-toe apron gives Haig its unmistakable identity, while carefully considered colour combinations add subtle depth.
