Hambleton – Men's Suede Shoes with Natural Crepe Soles
Designed in Manchester, the Hambleton collection brings together our distinctive men's two-eyelet shoes, combining relaxed styling, premium leathers and suedes with lightweight construction and our signature natural crepe rubber sole.
The Leathers
The original Hambleton Suede is handcrafted from premium Velopell luxury suede and fully lined with soft cow leather, creating a comfortable everyday shoe with a little more structure. For warmer days, we developed Hambleton II, a lighter and more flexible interpretation made from substantial Sciarada Castoro reverse suede and left unlined to allow the natural character and softness of the leather to come through.
Comfort And Fitting
Both versions use lightweight Strobel construction, allowing the upper and sole to move naturally with the foot. Underneath, a 6mm natural crepe rubber sole is carefully formed to provide the cushioning, flexibility and distinctive appearance that has become an important part of Meanforme footwear.
Premium Handcraft
Every pair of Hambletons is carefully handcrafted using premium leathers, traditional shoemaking skills and our distinctive natural crepe rubber sole. It's a combination of materials and craftsmanship that gives Hambleton its relaxed character, flexibility and unmistakably Meanforme feel.
Hambleton Hare
The Hambleton collection also includes Hambleton Hare, an alternative version crafted from long-hair full-grain leather, while retaining the familiar Hambleton shape, leather lining and natural crepe sole.
