Gosford is our take on the timeless boat shoe, stripped back to its essentials and rebuilt the Meanforme way. Handmade in Portugal from exceptional Conceria Opera reverse cow suede, every pair is designed to feel as good as it looks, blending traditional craftsmanship with effortless everyday comfort.

At the heart of Gosford is true Sacchetto construction, one of Italy's finest shoemaking techniques. By stitching the supple suede upper directly to a soft leather lining beneath the footbed, the need for rigid insole boards is removed, creating a shoe that feels remarkably soft, flexible and almost glove-like from the very first wear. It bends naturally with every step, delivering comfort that only gets better over time.

Finished with our signature natural crepe sole, Gosford has the relaxed character of a classic deck shoe, reimagined with the unmistakable Meanforme attitude. Every pair is supplied with two sets of laces, a removable cushioned footbed, and a partitioned cotton Meanforme drawstring storage bag, because the smallest details matter just as much as the ones you can see.

Meaning "little bag", Sacchetto describes the way the shoe is engineered. Instead of relying on a rigid insole board, the soft leather lining is stitched directly to the suede upper, creating a supple, glove-like structure that wraps naturally around your foot. The result is exceptional flexibility, lightweight comfort and a fit that feels broken in from the very first wear.
